2023-2024

A School Improvement Plan (SIP) or School Development Plan (SDP) is a central document used by Senior Leadership teams to map out their strategic plans for the development of their school.

SMART Goal for Student Learning in Literacy

As of june 2024, 43%+ of student will meet or exceed ELA standards on iar.

• IN june 2023, 40% of students met or exceeded ELA standards on iar.

AS of june 2024, 30% of 7th grade and 50% of 8th grade hispanic students will meet/exceed national achievement norms in Map reading.

• In june 2023, 26% of 6th grade and 44% of 7th grade hispanic students met/exceeded national achievement norms on reading-map.

Provide collaboration days for ELA (one full day for each grade level content). 1st & 2nd Quarter Jones

As of June 2024, 35.5% of students will meet or exceed MATH standards on IAR.

• In June 2023, 34% of students met/exceeded Math standards on IAR.

• As of June 2024, 38% of 7th grade and 60% of 8th Hispanic students will meet/exceed the national achievement norm in Math MAP.

•In June 2023, 34% of 6th grade and 56% of 7th grade Hispanic students met/exceeded national achievement norms on Math-NWEA.

Increase student engagement through the implementation of collaborative structures and cooperative learning opportunities in the classroom.

Every advisory will complete team building activities weekly during their advisory class, to build positive relationships between students and also between staff and students.

All teachers will utilize all of their Thunder Bucks each quarter (45-50), within the 9 week time frame, to positively recognize and reward their students. The purpose of these are to recognize target behaviors while building positive relationships with students
