6th Grade Band Students Pick up the Pace!

At a recent full band rehearsal the students went over warm ups that included long tones, a mini scale and various scale patterns.

While they were playing, Ms. Legutki had the students increase their speed to see how well they could maintain playing together at a faster pace.

She ended up going much faster then she thought because the students were doing so well.

At the end of the rehearsal the students played a fun song while they walked around the room.

The 6th grade band is looking forward to performing for family and friends at their concert this fall!
