Algonquin
The cross country season has officially started for our 6th, 7th and 8th grade runners, with the first two meets held at home at Algonquin Middle School.
Coaches Miranda Flemming and Alyssa Kerke said Algonquin's dedicated runners have been having a fantastic time during practice, engaging in running games and relays while striving to beat their own race time records.
The team's focus words for the season are determination, perseverance and positive energy.
The coaches said they are so proud of the runners for embodying these qualities and all their efforts this season!

A special shout out goes to the Algonquin Middle School PTO for setting up for the Kona Ice truck, which was a refreshing treat after the races!
