Orange Chicken and Chocolate Chip Cookies!

Algonquin
Students in the Algonquin Middle School Cooking Club meet each week to make delicious dishes under the supervision of teachers Ms. Kristen Ottow, Ms. Nancy Thomas and Ms. Carrie Willman.
Recently the students learned to make baked orange chicken and chocolate chip cookies.
The students first split up into groups of two, each taking a place at a station.
There was an orange sauce station, a fried rice station, a chicken station and two chocolate chip cookie stations.
The students started by reading through their recipe and collecting their ingredients.
Communicating and working together helped the groups work through their recipes correctly and efficiently.
At the end of the club the students were able to try all of the dishes and everyone was impressed with how delicious everything tasted!
