Algonquin Middle School eighth graders in Ms. Korin Hehn's art class are refining their skills in linear perspective drawing.

This week the class chose to illustrate either a detailed interior room or a dynamic street scene.

The students used a ruler to measure their lines, making sure they were straight and that they had the perspective correct.

Some of the students drew streets with storefronts, while others created unique interior rooms.

Once the students finished drawing with pencil, they traced the lines with a pen or marker, erased the pencil lines and colored their work in with colored pencils.
