Algonquin
As part of their unit about microscopes, 7th grade science students in Mrs. Wiemann's and Mr. Yamane's classes participated in a STEAM project with our art teacher Mr. Kanter.
Students brought in 3 different specimens they wanted to look at under the microscope and took pictures of their field of view.
Then Mr. Kanter talked about the 7 Elements of Art.
Students colored and painted their printed out versions of microscope art.
Students will be putting their microscope art creations around the school very soon!
