Algonquin
Recently the Algonquin Middle School Girls Club went to Forest Elementary School to read a book and complete a craft with the first grade classrooms.
The club, led by Ms. Flaherty, Ms. Henke and Ms. Petty, holds monthly events open to all girls at AMS.
Ms. Flaherty said it was amazing to see the AMS students use their leadership skills to guide and build relationships with the first graders at Forest.
Some of the Girls Club members even mentioned wanting to become teachers because of their experience!
