STEAM Night at AMS

Three children, two girls and one boy, are sitting together at a table in what appears to be a classroom or educational setting. The girls are wearing casual clothing, including a pink Nike shirt, while the boy is wearing a suit. The background suggests a colorful, lively environment, likely a school or learning space.
Algonquin

Students, staff and family packed the halls, classrooms and gym at Algonquin Middle School as they participated in the school's annual STEAM Night.

Many students and their families attended the event and enjoyed an evening of fun, creativity and learning.

The activities all centered around the subjects of science, technology, engineering, arts and math.

One of the science experiments had you mix two chemicals and stir them together. While they started to get hot, a reaction occurred causing the chemicals to turn into foam and grow out of the cup.

You then had a chance to decorate it or create a creature before the foam hardened.

Some students created their own miniature golf courses which were a delight for all who had a chance to try them out.

Activities included building aeroponic tower gardens, building towers with sticks and making lava lamps.

Students also had an opportunity to view different items and plants through microscopes.

Thank you to everyone who came out to make the evening a huge success!
