Algonquin
Staff and D62 Administrators welcomed Algonquin Middle School students to the 2024-2025 school year on Tuesday, August 20.
Students had fun reconnecting with friends and finding their new classrooms.
One of the highlights of the first day was the Newcomers Class, taught by Ms. Cathy Hanley and Ms. Amina Khokhar.
The students in the Newcomers Class were asked to complete a worksheet with several empty boxes on it.
The students' goal was to get a signature from every student and teacher in the class.
The activity was a fun way to socialize, meet new friends and learn everyone's name.
The entire Algonquin staff is looking forward to an exciting year ahead!
