Algonquin
Algonquin Middle School students were welcomed back to school on Thursday, August 21.
With their arms full of supplies, they arrived eager to meet their new classmates and catch up with friends they hadn't seen all summer.
Students in Ms. Hanley, Ms. Khokhar and Mr. Howe's advisory classes were treated to a handful of bingo chips when they arrived.
Stations were set up throughout the classroom asking the students what their preferences were between two things so the teachers and the other classmates could get to know each other better.
For example, the middle schoolers were asked if they liked McDonalds or Burger King better.
The students then had to count up the bingo chips to see what the popular answers were.
The students and the staff are looking forward to a great year ahead!
