What do you need in order to join a sports team?

  1. Physical: All athletes need a physical to tryout within 13 months. Check with the health office on your status.
  2. Packets: Your coach will provide you with an athletic handbook in which you need to complete with your parents.

Cheerleading

The Cheerleading and Dance team is a combination of both cheerleading and dancing. It is a team sport designed to motivate our players and fans during basketball games.

Participants will learn cheers as well as perform a variety of dances during basketball games. We at AMS believe that cheerleading and dancing is a rewarding and exciting experience that teaches teamwork, dedication, sportsmanship, leadership, school spirit, and hard work.

There is NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED to join our squad, although anyone with cheer or dance background is encouraged to try out. We require only a willingness to learn and work together as a team.
